PROFILE
Raghav is a Chartered Accountant by profession and carries an overall six years of experience in transaction advisory. He is also experienced in the financial planning and corporate tax consulting space.
He leads our corporate team, and has experience on major aspects around strategic investments, deal advisory structuring/ implementation, M&A, India entry strategies, outbound investment strategies, settlement agreements, joint-ventures, stock-linked incentives, general corporate, taxation and foreign exchange laws. His experience also includes advising various founder led companies in fundraises and exits by founders as well as financial investors. He has handled corporate and commercial transactions involving domestic and international clients engaged in financial services, information technology, pharma, real estate, e-commerce sectors and start-ups.
Before joining Tempus, he worked with PwC, Hyderabad in Deals as an Associate and handled corporate restructuring matters.
REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS
- Represented ed-tech company in raising series seed round of INR 50 Mn from Angel Investor in a single tranche.
- Represented Asian Court Holdings Inc for their investment in US and India totaling to USD 1.33 Mn.
- Represented Laxai Life Sciences in their investment round of USD 20 Mn as a growth capital investment from Signet Healthcare Partners. Similarly, represented Aryastha Life Sciences for Series A funding of USD 6.25 Mn from Vessella group.
- Represented Dodla Dairy, a leading milk production company in South India, in acquiring a local brand in Karnataka under a slump sale arrangement involving acquisition of factory land and building for a total consideration of INR 500 Mn.
- Represented Simplify360 in its global acquisition by a US based CRM company for a total consideration of US$ 11.25 Mn. Assisted Simplify360 in restructuring the shareholding, diligence readiness, tax advisory, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents along with pre and post-closing actions.
- Represented and assisted a construction company in entering into a settlement agreement and closing the settlement for a total consideration of INR 2,000 Mn. Assisted the company in diligence, tax advisory, FEMA advisory, exit strategy, reviewing and negotiating the settlement agreement.
